Tearing, cutting, rearranging
Here is an exercise we can use to make our own landscape with things we probably already have at home
Today is the first day of Lent. I am inviting you to give up AI slop for Lent. What I mean is, each week during Lent, let’s make an image ourselves instead of asking an automated tool to make an image for us. Here’s a simple way we can make a landscape picture, just by tearing and cutting up things that we probably already have at home.
1 Find some paper things around your house - magazines, newspapers, junk mail, annoying letters
2 Find some interesting pages and tear a long strip from each one
3 Arrange the strips vertically to make a landscape
4 Find some figures (people, animals, trees) to cut out and add to the landscape
